COLMAR EXPO

Who are we?

Operation of the Parc des Expositions and the Espace Auguste: organisation, hosting and management of events

Its sustainability commitments

Always with the aim of improving our performance, we decided to act on purchasing: a responsible purchasing procedure has been put in place to frame and guide our decisions according to ethical, transparent and sustainable principles.

In 2025, we also developed a digital tool for listing and classifying suppliers. This software allows us to better identify and promote partners committed to a sustainability strategy.

This initiative helps strengthen the traceability of our purchases, encourage collaboration with responsible suppliers and gradually reduce our environmental footprint while supporting a local and virtuous economy

At our events, we encourage soft mobility. To this end, a temporary cycle path is set up by the City during the Foire aux Vins d’Alsace. In partnership with the Trace network, free shuttles are also provided in the evening during the Cuvée Givrée and the Foire Aux Vins d’Alsace. They serve several strategic points in Colmar and provide direct access to the Parc des Expositions.

Colmar Expo has set itself the goal of moving towards energy sobriety, and 2025 is a key step on this path. We make sure to keep our site compliant while strengthening our commitment to responsible and sustainable management. Thus, several actions have been put in place: -LEDs during the compliance upgrade of the halls - Installation of fast doors to avoid heat loss - Photovoltaic panels with an installed surface area of 1 061 m²

Our share of energy consumed from renewable sources was 12% in 2025.

As part of a continuous improvement approach to our waste management, we have deployed a sorting system adapted to the specific characteristics of our stakeholders. Depending on the sites and activities, sorting is now organised into between 2 and 8 distinct streams, including in particular cardboard, scrap metal, wood, glass, packaging, oil, biowaste and other residual waste. This differentiated approach allows us to better recover recyclable materials while reducing our overall environmental impact. Moreover, as part of our commitment to waste recovery, we have set up donation initiatives to associations in order to give our consumables a second life. Our donations to associations: 1. Tarpaulins 2. Fabrics 3. Carpets 4. Bottle caps 5. Ink cartridges 6. Others (Lids…) Partners: EMMAUS, Lyreco, les bouchons de l’espoir, SCHROLL...

Key figure: At the end of 2025, we recovered 97.52 % of our waste.
