Who are we?
ALOKA’TERRE is an association whose purpose is to undertake humanitarian, environmental, social and cultural work in France and internationally, particularly in Sri Lanka and Bhutan.
Its activities include:
- Protecting the natural environment, including action against climate change and deforestation
- Alleviating the consequences of ecological disasters
- Fighting all forms of pollution, particularly plastic waste
- Conserving and preserving animal and plant biodiversity.
Its humanitarian work seeks to meet the essential needs of populations facing distress or poverty and help them achieve social inclusion.
La Fourmilière is proud to support ALOKA’TERRE because it takes us beyond our borders and habits, showing that we are all connected on this Earth and fortunate to enjoy the quality of life we have in France. Looking beyond our blinkers brings humility and keeps us grounded. La Fourmilière and ALOKA’TERRE can therefore work together on initiatives such as raising awareness among businesses, local authorities and associations about environmental protection and humanitarian action.
