Who are we?
Since 1965, Alsace Nature has campaigned to protect nature, develop biodiversity and raise environmental awareness in Alsace.
Alsace Nature is a non-profit association governed by local law, with no political affiliation. It has held State approval for environmental protection since 1978 and recognition for its public-interest mission since 1994.
Its missions are:
1/ Raise awareness, train and inform people about protecting the living world;
2/ Monitor issues, alert the public and intervene when action is needed;
3/ Bring together nature protection associations and represent the movement before public authorities.
La Fourmilière is proud to support Alsace Nature, which has initiated many actions that have delivered results in our area. La Fourmilière and Alsace Nature can therefore work together on initiatives such as raising environmental awareness among businesses, local authorities and associations.
