MAIRIE DE NEUF BRISACH
Who are we?
An Alsatian municipality, a member of the Network of Major Sites of Vauban, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008. The fortified town of Neuf-Brisach was built ex nihilo on the orders of the King of France Louis XIV from 1968 onwards.
The town is innovating by hosting in its historic casemates the MAUSA Vauban, an urban art museum where international artists express themselves on stone walls. Between its local shops and cultural events, the fortified town is a warm place to live that knows how to bring its prestigious past back to life while looking towards the future.
