Who are we?
The Mauffrey group is a family-owned company founded in 1964 and is today one of the leading French road freight carriers.
The group provides a range of transport and logistics solutions (road, river, rail) to support its clients.
Since the 2000s, the Mauffrey Group has devoted its efforts to respecting the environment. To promote good practices, an Environmental Preservation Plan (Plan Préservation Environnement, PPE) was drawn up in 2008. The main focus of this PPE is reducing consumption and therefore CO₂ emissions.
In 2012 the Group therefore acquired its first natural gas (GNV) truck, a 330 hp tractor unit, which was also the first to run on French roads.
Finally, the company was awarded the Objectif CO₂ label in 2019 and developed an action plan to that end through 2022.
That is why La Fourmilière decided to collaborate with Mauffrey, showcasing it through Circular Economy Sheets where it has its place, in order to help reduce the environmental impact of products over their entire life cycle.
