School awareness workshop on recycling food and drink cartons
Waste
- Solution type
- Service
- Theme
- Waste
This workshop, organised by LUCART, raises students' awareness of the recycling of beverage cartons and of the principles of the circular economy. They discover that the cardboard fibres contained in the cartons can be recycled to make paper, while the other components are recovered to produce new objects, such as paper dispensers from the EcoNatural range. This concrete approach helps students understand how waste can become new resources.

Its features
Environmentally friendly
- Recovery and recycling of beverage cartons at source The workshop raises students' awareness of sorting beverage cartons and thus helps reduce the quantity of waste sent to landfill or incineration through recycling. - Preservation of natural resources By explaining how beverage cartons are recycled, the workshop shows the value of reusing existing materials rather than exploiting new resources. Recycling thus saves energy and limits the greenhouse gas emissions linked to the production of new raw materials. - Adoption of eco-responsible habits The workshop encourages students to adopt good sorting and recycling practices on a lasting basis, at school and at home.
