Recovery of all packaging components
Beverage cartons are made of cardboard, plastic and aluminium. The process developed by Lucart's Econatural programme makes it possible to separate these materials so they can be used in new applications. The cellulose fibres are recovered and turned into paper hygiene products, such as hand towels or toilet paper. The polyethylene and aluminium mixture (Al.Pe.) is in turn recovered to make new products, such as paper dispensers.
