The bioreactor developed by BioRenGaz is an innovative solution designed to optimise the anaerobic digestion of organic waste. Thanks to its technology, it improves biogas production while turning waste into renewable energy and natural fertiliser, thus forming part of a circular economy and ecological transition approach.

- Grand Est
Its features
Environmentally friendly
- The use of recyclable and renewable materials This bioreactor is made from materials that support the circular economy. Its stainless steel tank is fully recyclable and its culture support comes from local recycling. - Recovery of organic waste
It turns organic waste into two useful resources
biogas, a renewable energy, and digestate, a natural fertiliser. This dual recovery helps reduce waste while producing reusable resources. - Improved performance of the anaerobic digestion process Thanks to its design, this bioreactor improves the yield of anaerobic digestion. It increases biogas production by around 10% compared with conventional digesters and can treat up to four times more waste for the same volume, thus optimising the recovery of organic waste. - A reduced carbon footprint It is designed as compact installations that can be set up as close as possible to where the waste is produced. This proximity limits the transport involved in collecting and treating it, thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions. - Low energy consumption This bioreactor works with an upflow technology that requires no mechanical stirring. This design reduces energy consumption while ensuring effective waste treatment.
