- Short local supply chains and reduced CO2 emissions: Equipment is collected directly from customers, limiting intermediaries and encouraging local handling. This reduces distances between collection, assessment and refurbishment. - Less electronic waste: Refurbishment prevents equipment with remaining value from being sent straight to recycling or disposal. - Lower raw material consumption: Reusing an existing machine avoids immediately producing new equipment and using new resources.
