The JVD second-life service is a major innovation (2025) that enables hand dryers to be collected and given new value at the end of their life. By avoiding systematic disposal as WEEE, JVD maximises the period of use of its products and reduces the environmental footprint of washrooms. It is the first take-back offer dedicated to this category of equipment, ensuring a genuine and controlled circular economy.

Its features
Refurbishment
A more virtuous WEEE management solution than standard material recycling, because it favours reuse. The collection specifically targets the JVD hand dryer fleets installed at customers' sites, to ensure a controlled return loop.
Resource management
Drastic reduction in the extraction of raw materials (metals, electronic components, plastics) by extending the life of existing products.
Green logistics
The collection of the hand dryer fleets to be given new value is integrated into a reverse logistics loop, at the same time as a delivery round. The collection specifically targets JVD hand dryer fleets.
Second life
The service relies on JVD's technical expertise to identify the components that are still functional and to propose the best option for recovery.
Reuse and circular economy
Giving hand dryers at the end of their life a genuine second life rather than treating them as ultimate waste.
Material recycling
Collected devices that cannot be reused as they are are sent to dedicated recycling channels to recover metals and polymers.
Integration & diversity
In partnership with an ESAT (Établissement et Service d'Aide par le Travail), this project offers people with disabilities a concrete and lasting opportunity for integration.
