Its features
Local and responsible raw material
Made from pure virgin kraft pulp paper (70 g/m²), 100 % of French origin, FSC and PEFC certified. This choice ensures high mechanical strength, ideal for supporting the weight of even very wet waste.
Local manufacturing
All the bags are produced locally in the workshops of Saint-Junien in Haute-Vienne (87), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
Zero chemical additives
No chemical treatment is applied to the paper. Water resistance is obtained naturally through a technique built into the manufacturing process (WS technique), ensuring the bag is completely harmless and free of contamination when biowaste is processed.
Eco-design and CSR
As part of its 2026-2027 CSR plan, the company is gradually replacing conventional glues with biodegradable alternatives based on natural starch.
Multiple biological recovery routes
Compliant with the EN 13432 and NF T51-800 biodegradability standards, the bag offers three ways of returning to the soil: industrial composting, home composting (at the association) and anaerobic digestion.
Full recyclability
If the bag is not sent to a composting stream, it is 100 % recyclable and goes straight back into the standard paper/cardboard recovery system, with no need for prior treatment or sorting.
Community solidarity
The company has developed a strong partnership with a local Entreprise Adaptée (EA, an adapted enterprise), promoting the professional inclusion of people with disabilities. Tapiero actively supports local community life through lasting partnerships with the association Trait d’Union as well as several sports clubs in the area (basketball, handball, athletics).
