Hydro-jetting is a process used to maintain and unblock pipes using a high-pressure water jet. It removes deposits, grease and residues built up in sewerage networks, making it easier for fluids to flow and preventing blockages. The work covers in particular pipes, grease traps and septic tanks. It forms part of a preventive maintenance approach aimed at limiting malfunctions and accidental pollution.
- Sector:
- Haut-Rhin

Its features
Chemical-free intervention
The hydro-jetting process relies exclusively on high-pressure water. The absence of chemical products limits the risk of pollution of soils and aquatic environments.
Optimised logistics
The work is carried out using a 7-tonne vehicle, lighter and less polluting than the 19-tonne trucks usually used. The fleet is regularly renewed in order to comply with the environmental standards in force.
Pollution prevention
Regular maintenance of sewerage networks helps avoid overflows, leaks and accidental discharges. This preventive approach contributes to protecting local ecosystems.
Regulated and traceable management
Blasy holds a prefectural certification authorising unloading, guaranteeing compliant and supervised handling of the materials collected.
Second life
The grease and sludge from the operations are taken to a wastewater treatment plant to be reprocessed. They are then directed to suitable recovery channels, promoting responsible waste management.
