Why install motion sensors? Unnecessary electricity consumption has both an economic and an environmental impact. A motion sensor offers a solution to this excessive consumption. Forgetting to switch off three 75-watt bulbs for a whole night uses as much electricity as a 60°C wash cycle! Leaving a light on unnecessarily therefore increases the electricity bill and also consumes non-renewable energy. Using a motion sensor reduces electricity consumption and therefore the greenhouse gases associated with global warming.
