Installing showers instead of bathtubs

Why install showers instead of baths? The main aim of replacing baths with showers is to preserve increasingly precious water resources. As well as being environmentally friendly, this action saves money! On average, with reasonable use, one bath uses as much water as 5 to 7 showers. A shower uses an average of 20 to 60 L, whereas a bath uses around 120 to 250 L of water. Other environmental actions naturally go hand in hand with this, such as turning off the tap while soaping and using environmentally friendly products to avoid polluting greywater. Choosing a more water-efficient shower head is another good step, using an average of 6 L of water per minute instead of 15 L/min.
