Its features
Environmentally friendly
- Recycled material serving insulation Glassine paper is a single-use waste that was until now destined for landfill or incineration. SOPREMA is today the only manufacturer to turn this neglected material into a high-performing insulation, thus following a concrete circular economy approach. Cellulose wadding is made of 91% recycled paper. - Durable and high-performing insulation Estimated service life of 50 years, a performance validated by verified FDES data sheets available on the Inies database. This longevity ensures constant thermal efficiency over several decades without the need for premature replacement. - Local manufacturing limiting CO₂ emissions The insulation is produced in France at our plants in Cestas, near Bordeaux, and in Beaune, Burgundy. This geographical proximity, combined with an energy-efficient transformation process, considerably reduces the overall environmental impact of the product.
Second life
The insulation is recyclable and can be reintegrated into the production chain.
