Using renewable energy
Energy
- Solution type
- Everyday action
- Theme
- Energy
This approach consists of actively supporting the transformation of the national energy mix by directing the establishment's purchasing choices towards renewable sources. By subscribing to “green” or eco-labelled electricity contracts, the establishment ensures that the equivalent of its consumption is fed into the grid as clean energy (wind, solar, hydro, biomass or geothermal). It is a major lever for reducing the overall carbon footprint of tourism activity.
