Who are we?
Located north of Strasbourg since 1640, Brasserie Meteor now brews a wide range of distinctive products.
This independent family brewery, spanning 8 generations, protects the environment through sustainable actions within its business.
Since 1948, the brewery has generated much of its own electricity using a 150 kW steam-driven generator. It later invested in an integrated wastewater treatment plant, allowing it to discharge treated, unpolluted water and recover its agricultural sludge through nearby partner farmers.
Thanks to its environmental approach, Brasserie Meteor has reduced the water consumed in brewing by 30% over the past 20 years.
