Why favour seasonal products? Under the French Labour Code, employers are required to assess the risks to workers' health and safety for any activity likely to involve exposure to hazardous chemical agents (Article R4412-5 of Decree No. 2008-244 of 07/03/2008); as a result, a product without a hazard pictogram can be a solution. It is also important to refer to significant criteria when selecting your cleaning products: - Official environmental labels or certifications such as: Ecolabel, Ecocert, Nature&progrès… - Packaging optimisation to limit waste: concentrated products or large volumes, with packaging made of recycled and recyclable material - Product made in France - Etc. As a reminder, an empty, soiled, unrinsed container must be sorted into the hazardous waste stream and treated accordingly. These treatment streams are expensive and often heavy from an environmental point of view. Choosing products not subject to the CLP regulation can be a good solution to reduce one's environmental impact and often one's waste management costs.
