The eggs are collected from partner farms located within an average radius of 40 km around the packing centre, which significantly reduces journeys and the carbon emissions linked to transport.
Local cereals to feed the hens
The hens are fed mainly with locally sourced cereals, supporting the regional farming sector and avoiding the transport of imported feed.
Labels and rigorous guarantees
The Agriculture Biologique (AB) and Œufs de France certifications, complemented by the Savourez l’Alsace avec l’agriculture locale and Alsace Excellence schemes, attest to more environmentally friendly practices, local sourcing and controlled traceability.
Zero waste and 100% compostability
The eggshell and its cellulose packaging are fully compostable, allowing the material to return completely to the soil. Once consumed, the box and the shells can go into an individual or community composter to become a rich soil improver for soils and gardens.
