For more than 30 years, the Étoiles d'Alsace association has brought together the best of Alsatian gastronomy: fine-dining restaurants, renowned winstubs and exceptional artisans. Together, they promote regional know-how through group purchasing, prestigious events, the promotion of Alsace in France and abroad, and offers that allow as many people as possible to enjoy the region's great restaurants.

Local and sustainable sourcing
The Étoiles d'Alsace association encourages its members to give priority to producers, artisans and suppliers based in Alsace. This approach supports short supply chains by reducing the distances travelled by raw materials and food products before they are consumed.
Pooled purchasing and fewer transports
Étoiles d'Alsace also promotes the development of group purchasing among its members. By pooling orders, logistics flows can be optimised, reducing the number of deliveries and journeys needed to supply the establishments.
Promoting seasonal products
The members of Étoiles d'Alsace use seasonal products as much as possible. This practice reduces the environmental impact of agricultural production, in particular by limiting the use of heated greenhouses, artificial lighting systems and imports from distant regions. Seasonal products generally require less energy for growing, storage and transport.
