Its features
Certified organic farming
Cultivation without pesticides, synthetic chemical fertilisers or GMOs, ensuring the preservation of soil biodiversity and the protection of groundwater.
Slow artisanal roasting
A traditional method carried out in Alsace that uses less energy than fast industrial processes and allows better quality control without additives.
Support for “Forest Coffee”
Some varieties (such as Ethiopia) come from agroforestry systems where the coffee plant grows under natural shade, helping to fight deforestation and supporting the habitat of local wildlife. Delivery by cargo bike
Second life
After use, coffee grounds can be added to your compost: they are a source of nutritious, soil-structuring humus and can be added as freely as you like.
Recovery of the coffee cherry pulp
Café Schreiber has developed a unique infusion made from this pulp (Cascara range). This infusion illustrates an approach to waste reduction by making use of a co-product that is usually discarded during the processing of the bean.
Fair trade (Fairtrade label)
Commitment to fair pay for producers, enabling them to invest in their communities (schools, health) and to stabilise their incomes in the face of market fluctuations.
Traceability and origin
Precise identification of the terroirs (Rwanda, Ethiopia, Peru) and of the small-producer cooperatives, ensuring full transparency on production conditions.
