Who are we?
The market-garden farm Éric et Caroline is an Alsatian farm specialising in the production and distribution of certified organic vegetables. Recognised for its commitment to healthy, local food, the business has built its model around short supply chains and the sale of seasonal baskets, guaranteeing optimal freshness while minimising intermediaries.
Looking to the future, the farm integrates circular economy practices by reducing packaging and optimising its logistics through low-carbon delivery solutions in urban areas. With its strong local roots and its desire to preserve soil biodiversity, Maison Éric et Caroline is establishing itself as a benchmark player in the food and social transition in Alsace.
In addition, the farm has eco-designed premises with a timber frame, a green roof and solar panels for self-consumption. Sorting rejects are recovered through the Biocapsule, a micro-methaniser producing electricity and heating for the building. The by-product is then used as fertiliser for the crops.
