Why provide doggy bags? An ADEME study found that food waste in commercial catering averages 148 g per meal. When organising a meal, it is important to order as close as possible to the amount of food needed. However, this is not always easy! To tackle food waste, participants can be asked to bring a container to take leftovers home. Restaurants are also required to offer gourmet bags if a customer wishes to take their leftovers home.
