Who are we?

What if the company really were a jungle… Not the one of the saying, not the one ruled by the law of the strongest, no. Rather the real jungle. The one of nature. The tropical forest, green and lush. The one where thousands of different species, endowed with unique skills and talents, driven by diverse passions and impulses, thrive in harmony. The one where the complex, teeming cooperation of thousands of organisms helps create what is essential: the vital oxygen of our planet.

What if the company of tomorrow were this kind of jungle… If it realised that it is a place of life and mutual aid, a living organism that takes care of its internal ecology, of the flourishing of each of its cells, of its interdependence with its environment. If it reinvented its reason for existing and contributing, and if this metamorphosis could transform Society as a whole. And if it began to cultivate the living in order to leave a positive mark on the present and the future.

At Entreprise Vivante, we believe in it, and this is what we work towards every day.

Entreprise Vivante makes sure to integrate sustainability criteria into its purchasing. Our printed communication materials are produced on recycled paper and, for our IT equipment, we favour either refurbished equipment or professional-grade hardware designed to offer a long lifespan and limit replacements. More broadly, we seek to favour local suppliers where possible and to make choices that reconcile quality, environmental impact and the durability of equipment.

Business travel is the main environmental impact of our activity. To limit it, we systematically favour public transport, notably the train for long-distance journeys and the tram and bus for urban journeys. Where relevant, we also offer part of our support remotely in order to avoid trips that would add no particular value.

As our activity is mainly office-based, our energy consumption is essentially linked to IT equipment. We therefore favour low-consumption equipment and put simple sobriety measures in place, such as the automatic shutdown of our servers and equipment during periods of inactivity, notably at weekends. We also make sure to extend the lifespan of our equipment in order to limit its environmental impact over its entire life cycle.

Societal commitment is at the heart of Entreprise Vivante’s purpose. Through our training courses, support and talks, we contribute to the development of more responsible management practices, more cooperative working relationships and more resilient organisations. We are also involved in various professional and community networks, maintain partnerships with several higher education institutions and occasionally take part in skills-based sponsorship initiatives. Beyond our own operations, we consider that our main contribution to sustainable development lies in our ability to guide leaders, managers and teams towards more human, more sustainable ways of cooperating that are better able to meet the economic, social and environmental challenges of our time.
